This horn is loud! It's your best truck option as far as I could tell until you move up to the much larger compressor driven horns with seperate air tanks. Installation was tricky in the sense that hard to locate the components. After that things went quickly. I tapped the hot lead on my existing horn for a the on/off signal to the relay and it seems to work great. I can't wait until the first person pull out in front of me towing my boat, on the phone texting!
Be advised that the horn is almost 16" long. I personally liked that as it deepened the tone but also be advised that it is in no way a deep tone. This has got to be the best "bang for you buck" truck horn that exists.

I bought the horn because of the price, and because it was metal, not a plastic trumpet. I reviewed the size before I bought it, and knew that it would fit in my Pontiac Vibe behind the grill, but it is not a small horn. It is a great horn however, loud, and the compressor fires up right away. Very impressed with the tone and volume, just as I had hoped. My only complaint was the shipping. Although it arrived as scheduled, it (UPS) was much slower than other companies I have used for the price. I didn't have a choice as to the shipping method, but even the USPS, (Post Office), would have been faster. Besides that, the horn is well worth the money, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a quality air horn with a great loud sound and a nice polished chrome finish.
