I works (that is better than I can say for a previous purchase) and it is very quick, faster than battery operated pumps. The noise level is the same as previous units that I have used.

I was unable to use this product immediately due to an accident. When I first used it the 30 day warranty was a week expired, the compressor lasted less than five minutes, made an awful noise, then totally quit. I have e-mailed Auto Barn (the supplier through Amazon) and they have never had even the courtesy to respond. In a recent check, this compressor was no longer listed in Amazon but wherever you might see it, I strongly recommend that you spend a few dollars more and get something like Black & Deckers inflator that has a 2 year warranty and works. I will purchase nothing ever again from Auto Barn.

The unit is powerful enough to inflate car tires (that are low and not completely flat)in less than a couple of minutes. It is a bit loud and vibrates but for the cost it does the job. I would have rated it 5 stars but gave it 4 stars due to the noise and vibration.

Pump looks light duty, i.e. light in weight. The first job I gave it was to pump up my spare tire, (small doughnut), to 70 psi. It did this with no problem. For the money spent, I would have bought the sears
compressor, but the poor reviews steered me away from that. I didn't see anything else out there to buy in the 120v range. So far this unit is acceptable. Time will tell if it holds up or not. I am not a heavy user. I have 4 cars and a couple of bikes. I may use it once a month.
